Monday, May 23rd : FULL DAY OF SCHOOL
Tuesday – Friday May 24th-27th : HALF DAYS OF SCHOOL with dismissal at 11:45 (Each 1/2 day is a free non-uniform day).
Friday, May 27th: Class Party at 11:00 (more info to follow)
Bible:
Psalm 23:1-6 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
There will be a Bible verse quiz on Friday.
Spelling:
We will play games and do activities that will concentrate on sight words. There will not be any more spelling tests this year.
Phonics:
We will continue to play games and do activities to practice and reinforce the special sounds that we have learned this year. There will not be any more phonics tests this year.
Reading and Writing:
All groups will be reading and writing different forms of poetry.
Math:
We will review concepts learned this year (re-grouping, time, money, etc.)
Social Science:
We will continue to work on force and matter.
