Tuesday, Oct. 4th - Decade Day! Dress in any attire for the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s!
Wednesday, Oct. 5th - Safari Day! Wear your favorite safari attire.
Thursday, Oct. 6th - Movie Day! Dress as your favorite movie character! Disney, Marvel, etc. Nothing scary pleaseJ
Friday, Oct. 7th - Raider Pride! Wear your Homecoming TShirt, or any spirit wear!
Friday, Oct. 7th - Homecoming Game @ 7:30
Monday, October 10th: No SCHOOL! Columbus Day
Monday, October, 17th: No school for students. Teacher workday.
Friday, October 21st: Make-up picture day.
If your child chooses not to dress in the spirit days during homecoming week, they should wear their uniforms. Please remember that NON UNIFORM guidelines should be used during homecoming week. :)

Handwriting: We will continue to focus on formation, placement, and neatness.
Creative Writing: Students will continue to practice writing complete sentences using capital letters at the beginning and periods at the end. I will introduce question marks this week. We will continue learning the parts of a sentence. We will be writing super sentences. All sentences should have these four parts:
Begin with a capital letter.
End with a punctuation mark.
Make sense.
Be written neatly.
They will write sentences with their spelling words, and write in their journals daily. We will write about Fall and Seasons
